1.1 Hypnobirthing does not constitute medical advice or an alternative appropriate medical care.

1.2 This hypnobirthing course intends to provide the tools to manage the birthing process and is not in any way a guarantee or promise of expected, imagined or actual outcome of labour or birth.

1.3 Hypnobirthing is not a substitute for the advice or the presence during birth or any part of pregnancy or labour, a qualified medical practitioner, midwife or obstetrician.

1.4 Katie Campion at My Informed Birth accepts no responsibility or liability for harm, complications or inappropriate use of hypnobirthing techniques, resulting from hypnobirthing being used as a substitute for medical advice.

1.5 My Informed Birth participants should always seek the advice of a midwife or obstetrician to answer any questions they have relating to their pregnancy, labour and birth.

2. Payment

2.1 £50 deposit or payment in full to be made upon booking. Any flexible terms must be agreed in advance.

2.2 My Informed Birth reserves the right to cancel your space on the course, should payment terms be violated.

2.3 Any travel costs to be agreed before booking.

3. Cancellation

3.1 In the unlikely event the course should be cancelled by the teacher, My Informed Birth will rearrange the course as best to suit all participants. If no other arrangements can be made then a full refund will be given.

3.2 Should the participant decide to cancel more than 4 weeks prior to the course start date, a partial refund will be given, excluding the £50 deposit. 

3.3 Should the participant decide to cancel within 4 weeks of the course start date, or during the course, no refund will be given.

3.4 Should your baby arrive before before or during the course, special considerations will be taken to agree full or partial refund.

3.5 If you are unable to attend a paid event or workshop, you will be placed on the next available date or agree a date for a private phone or zoom catch-up to talk about your individual needs.
